On December 16, 2008, the RSC approved the SAR-001 action to allow ERCOT ISO to have voting privileges on the RSC and the RBB, and assigned the weight of the vote to be one-fourth on both. The RSC directed the RSM to post this action for a formal vote before the RBB. This action is now posted, and formal voting of the RBB pool will begin on January 19, 2009. | |

The Standard Drafting Team work product is: (1) Texas RE Standard Development Process Revised; (2) Reliability Standards Committee Procedure Revised; and (3) Registered Ballot Body Procedure Revised. Also included, as an aid to understanding the issues, is a Background paper and two Position papers. You, as a commenter, will respond to a series of questions (available beginning November 1). The Standard Drafting Team has drafted the necessary documents to give ERCOT ISO a vote in the standards development process. These documents have been approved by the RSC and accepted for public posting for comment. The documents will be posted here, and the 30-day comment period will open in a few weeks.
